Server Assistant / Food Runner Part-Time

Position purpose:
To assist the waitstaff and kitchen in maintaining cleanliness in the restaurant, clearing tables, stocking items as needed and other duties as requested. Final garnishment of dishes, running food to tables.
Essential Elements:
Professional and personable manner
Outgoing personality with strong grasp for teamwork
Displays a positive and outwardly friendly attitude toward guests and co-workers
Experience in high volume resort or hotel kitchens
A high sense of urgency and attention to details
Ability to work effectively in a busy environment
Remaining calm in a hectic, fast-paced atmosphere
Demonstrates a high level of organization, attention to detail, and sense of urgency
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and other employees both in person and on the telephone.
Ability to interact with guests and other employees in a courteous, empathetic, and discreet manner.
Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach other departments of the hotel on a timely basis
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays
Compensation: $15 per hour plus tips
